Dating from 1606, the reign of Philip II, this church is attached to the Convento dos Eremitas de São Paulo (Convent of the Hermits of St. Paul). The interior shaped like a Latin cross, and contains many religious works from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, from other extinct churches and convents. Among these works, there is the image of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda, with origin in the Convent of Friars of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda.
